We must have gotten our travel suggestions from Carol ... we were out there last year also ago when Dave had a conference. I went to the rose gardens - a gorgeous huge park - I’ll let you see the brochure if you are here Thursday. After the conference we drove along the Columbia River Gorge, stopping and hiking up to a waterfall (relatively easy hike) then went to Bonneville Dam. I could have stayed for hours just watching the fish swim upstream! We also went to Mt St. Helen’s - that was worth the trip.
We have also been to Seattle area - ate at the space needle years ago with the kids.

Just had my annual mammogram - they did an ultrasound on both sides. I go see the surgeon for a follow up in November - just a formality - these surgeons like to follow up.

they always do ultra sounds on both sides for me. Dense tissue I think.

We were in Portland last June - the things we enjoyed the most were the huge rose garden, the Japanese and the Chinese gardens. I don’t know how they are at this time of year. We spent time at the coast too - so beautiful and different than other ocean shoreline. Seattle seems to have so many tourist things, more than Portland. (I can recommend a good Italian restaurant downtown Portland, not a chain - Pastini Pastaria - it’s about a block from the Hilton)
