Good for Another 5-10

Colonoscopy went well this morning.  I lost 6 pounds doing the prep - and I am sure I will gain it all back with 1 meal.  Dave has taken the day off so we are running errands - delivering cookies to his Dad and the staff at the Altenheim, also going to sign “my painting” and dropping cookies off for Aunt Gloria, then grocery shopping for the next 2 weeks. We will be driving to Cincinnati Christmas Eve, Rachel said to spend Christmas Day at that way she can spend Christmas evening with Nick.

Next entry: nice weekend and a good two weeks ahead

Maureen most people rest after that procedure. You continue to amaze.
Cheerier today. Perhaps the football game last night took me away from my self absorption. I went to talk with my GP and he suggested that I consult an infectious disease specialist before I give up my two teeth. He said that bone infections are difficult to get rid of. Anyone have a recommendation? I went swimming until we were kicked out because JCC had their power turned off by IPL…something about tree trimming. I spent a half hour picking up litter along Ditch road and barely made a dent.

We are all set for our snow “storm” - home made cookies, and Dave is making potato soup and harvest soup this weekend.  Roanoke is forecasted to receive 12-18 inches - can’t wait to talk with Kevin.

Kate - when is your Christmas party?

Went to a tomato taste test this morning at Opinions (in the mall by Sears) and made $30 for eating a bite of 3 different Florida tomatoes(gross, crunchy, tasteless all of them) and then went to Ella’s school for her Christmas Concert.  Very sweet - all of the 1st and 2nd graders sang 7 carols, then the audience sang along on about 5 more carols.  Steve signed on the dotted line at work today, and brought the last of his belongings home from his office. I think we will go out to eat tomorrow to celebrate or drown in our sorrows, depending.
