Dessert on Thursday

I saw Barb at the grocery when I was shopping for dessert for Thursday - I was leaning towards pumpkin pie cake but also considering the pineapple/cherry “dump” cake. She said she would eat anything but pumpkin wasn’t her favorite so pineapple cherry it is.  There is a shortage of the pumpkin at the grocery anyway - apparently there is a pumpkin shortage.

Well Carol you got your sunshine - now how about 10 degrees warmer.  Our house was at 57 and Dave said that was low enough for him so now it is at 60.  He went to give blood this morning and was rejected because his body temperature was too low.

See you on Thursday ... requests for thermostat temperature?

67 is ok. I wear sweaters. Dinner was fun tonight. Kara always brings her dog. The dogs are always excited to see each other and they run around the living and dining room. Frequently they change places as to who is chasing and who is following. We are all amused and laugh a t the antics. JoJo usually sits in my lap and ignores the foolishness.

We haven’t turned on our furnace - it’s not gone lower than 67 in here!  (good insulation or slightly different climate zone??!!)

This morning at church Delaney seemed so tired.  She said she couldn’t wait to get home and take a sleeping nap - Taylor called to say she has a 100.2 fever.  Her turn to be sick apparently and hopefully she will have a mild case of whatever flu bug she has.

Birthday party sounded fun Susan!

Carol ... what temperature do you have your thermostat set to come on?  Our new furnace is so quiet ... could yours be coming on and you not know?  Could Steve be turning it on when you aren’t looking? I can’t believe with the cold nights that yours hasn’t kicked on.

It’s turned off - I am the boss of the furnace, and decide when it will be on or off and what temperature it will be set at! Today it is 65.7 degrees in here, and when Steve gets home, he may be the boss of the furnace and decide he wants it a few degrees warmer!

I know for a fact we have alot of insulation in our attic, and our newer windows and doors help alot as well. Those things must make a difference I guess.

My Head Start Story times went well, yesterday ( they wanted me to read and sing a song again)  Today I went to a Foreign Language lab, ( For a tec LEU) at central, and enjoyed explorieg the web sites we have. Friday Is Baby story time. Last week I didn’t have any babies so I hope I do this week.
