Blue skies at last
It is heavenly here on this island - perfect blue skies, gentle breeze and about 80 degrees. We have walked the beach, stopped for a Mai Tai at the Royal Hawaiian, snapped a few pictures and now back at the Ilikai to regroup a bit before heading down to the deck area to read for awhile. Our flight over here was long (10 hours from Atlanta), but made very enjoyable by watching some movies (The Invention of Lying, Pandorum, Law Abiding Citizen) and eating some very good food along the way. While it still seems very odd not to have Steve’s folks here to enjoy our time with, we will absolutely cherish every minute of our stay nonetheless! We are going to have dinner tonight at the Hau Tree Lanai. We have a perfect view from our lanai, can even see Diamond Head!

ok, so yes we were in San Diego. But are back now catching up with the paper landslide here at the office. We had cloudy days, one rainy day, and two sunny days. Hope to make it March 4.

Carol must have really slept right through the movie Padorum - it was a weird sci fi movie. Law Abiding Citizen was pretty good though.

I really enjoyed the Zumba class, with Barb, and will try some of the other exercise classes at the JCC. I’m also enjoying the Winter Olympics, even the Curling!

We can bond…we watched The Invention of Lying also - thanks to CarolFay who is picking up movies for me! Rain here now - if it wasn’t rain it would be 5 to 8 inches of snow.
