Art Fair and other weekend updates
Apparently I stay logged in. Art fair was big but muddy. We enjoyed it but didn’t buy anything.
We had appetizer’s here ( quick Sam’s run) and then Amalfi’s for a sloooow dinner. We were there for almost three hours. The service was not good. The restaurant was packed but there were plenty of waiters standing around so it was the kitchen that couldn’t keep up. Food was fine but not all that. Afterwards we came back here for coffee and cake. Depauw’s graduation is this afternoon so we are calm for the moment. I have another eye appointment tomorrow so I took the day off and will go to lunch with everyone still here.

Yes we went to lunch at the Journey and stopped into Kohl’s and boutght a pair of shoes for me and two pairs for Bill.
My eye appointment went fine. My eyes have been feeling decent which I reported. And then tonight I am back in misery. I will be home tomorrow after school about 4:00. Please stop by anyone. I will be in the yard.
Our visitors all made their flights. Kay and Jeff go standby cause their son is a pilot. Mary Jo wanted to be bumped but they told her that rebooking her fight to her small town was too much trouble so they gave the bump to someone else. She waw quite annoyed. Eight Days.

Delaney finished her first Geist 5K with about 11 minute miles. She was soooo excited about receiving her medal - she wore it to church on Sunday and was thrilled when people would ask her what it was for (she usually doesn’t like to draw attention to herself!) I took Delaney and Ella swimming at the Y on Saturday afternoon. Too wet to do much in the yard even on Sunday but today I worked outside for a few hours. Tonight I have been editing photos.

Rachel’s pace in her first mini was 13:08 - and this year was 8:51 a mile so Delaney is well on her way! Wouldn’t it be a good bonding experience if Delaney and her grandmother did a race together?? She can beat my pace now!

Didn’t quite make it to your house Sue - after 4 that is. I did ride by on my bike earlier in the day. Will you be home Wednesday afternoon?

Monday I stopped by on my bike ride Sue - your car was there but no one answered the knock so I figured you were at lunch.
Isn’t this weather glorious! I walked 5 miles, bikes 11, cut the grass, swept the drive, edged the walk - just in case we never see a sunny day again!
I’ll take Amalfi’s off our list - not that it ever was on our list.
Dave left for Toledo from work for the night and a meeting - he’ll be back home in time for dinner. Four hour drive or so each way - hardly worth it.
